13-17s Multi-activity course with Bendrigg Trust
Date:
Friday 15 - Monday 18 Aug 2025
Location:
Bendrigg Trust Old Hutton Kendal Cumbria LA8 0NR
Whatever your level of injury, you get to try lots of outdoor activities like canoeing, abseiling and archery and having fun with new friends. You can bring a sibling or friend of a similar age if we have a space.
This course will be run by Bendrigg who provide residential activity breaks for people of any age or ability at their centre in Cumbria.
Bendrigg believe in anything is possible. You may never have dreamt of flying down a zip wire or canoeing on a lake, but at Bendrigg, they make the “impossible” possible!
We have adults and young people leading the course who have a spinal cord injury themselves, so they will be able to share their life experiences with you and we also provide care if required.

Course Donation
Back Up relies on the generosity of individuals and companies to fund our programme of courses. Each year we ask all course participants to make a suggested donation towards their course place.
We do understand however that everyone’s circumstances are different so making a full donation isn’t always possible. Please don’t ever let money concerns stop you from applying for one of our courses. We never allocate or refuse a course space based on your ability to make a donation.
The following recommended donation is roughly a third of the actual cost of each space:
13-17s Bendrigg Trust donation – £600
